NYC and TIMES SQUARE
Commemorating the end of
World War II

We remember the Greatest Generation
who died for our Freedom
and those who are buried
in American Military Cemeteries around the World
We teach about individuals who risked their lives
to save others and inspire people to take action.
Each person, every action, large or small, can be the difference.

Be the Difference-Never Again believed that
First Responders, killed in the line of duty in
New York City, should be honored in a unique way.
One Times Square placed pictures of these heroes
on the world's most famous billboard on the day of their funerals.
Sadly, this has become a new tradition.

Elizabeth signs all her books,
If you are not indifferent-things can be different.
These words are the heart of many stories of rescue and survival during one of the
worst times in history.
We must remember-not to forget why certain days are Federal Holidays or recognize specific
groups or individuals.
We need to take the time to remember,
otherwise we might forget.

Elizabeth personal knows Good Samaritans.
Her life was saved by two strangers in
New York City one evening.
Think of stories you know. Share them.
Be inspired by them.
