It Happened in Italy: The Untold Story of How the People of Italy Defied the Horrors of the Holocaust, tells the little-known history of how individual Italians risked their lives to save Jews in Italy.

As a result of their actions, approximately 80% of Jews survived in Italy, while in the rest of occupied Europe, approximately 80% were murdered. I sign all my books, If you are not indifferent, things can be different.

I was invited to give lectures around the world about the book. People who heard these stories of bravery were in awe of the sacrifices made by these men and women. I wanted these meaningful stories to inspire people to help others. This was the seed for Be the Difference- Never Again.
